  • Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our AAHA certified animal hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
  • Surgical Services:  Our surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Shelter work is an important part of our practice, and so we spay and neuter cats for the local shelters on a daily basis.  Tumor removals, cystotomies, laceration repair, cesarean sections, and many other soft tissue surgeries are also performed on a daily basis.
  • Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Our monitoring equipment includes a pulse oximeter, EKG machine, blood pressure monitor, accompanied with very skilled veterinary technicians.
  • Radiology Services:  Our on-site,  X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. Fractures and arthritic changes, evaluation of heart and lungs, and assessment of organs in the abdominal cavity are all possible with radiography.
  • Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
  • Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, cytology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. In house lab work is performed the same day, while results sent to outside labs usually are completed in 24 hours.
  • Preventive Health Care Programs:
         -
    EXAMINATIONS; yearly for our pets up to seven years old, and twice yearly after seven.
         - VACCINATIONS: Schedule varies according to age and risk factors.
         - DENTAL SERVICES; An essential part of maintaining your pet's overall health.
         - PARASITE CONTROL; Monthly deworming programs, flea and tick control and periodic testing.
         - NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING; A variety of prescription diets are available to treat specific medical conditions.
         - GERIATRIC HEALTH CARE PROGRAMS; Your pet's needs change dramatically as your pet enters the senior or even geriatric years. Let us explain and help you keep your pet as healthy and as comfortable as possible during the later years.
  • Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm, flea and tick preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.
  • Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing,  tooth extractions and oral surgery.
  • Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to kill fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
  • Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
  • Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. Most importantly as part of our puppy visits we will guide you and help prevent destructive behavior by your cat or dog.
  • Boarding:  We provide pet boarding. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. For more info go to our boarding page
  • Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
