Kate Pillsbury DVM

Kate is a 1979 graduate of Middlebury College. She completed a master's degree in biological oceanography from the University of Miami in 1981. She graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.

Kate worked in the Massachusetts and Rhode island areas for five years prior to establishing her own animal hospital in November of 1996. Dr. Pillsbury feels that pets are a wonderful addition to any family. For young children pets are cute and cuddly, for teenagers, pets are a constant source of comfort, and for older people, pets are loyal companions.  Kate's  own family includes a husband, two children and four pets.

Harmony, pictured left was rescued from the streets of Providence as a four week old kitten in 1995. She survived the deadly disease panleukopenia soon after adoption, and has been a healthy cat ever since.
